2025 Budget Defence: Focus on Youth Development

Rep. Martins Esin, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Youth Development and Member representing Oron Federal Constituency, co-chaired the 2025 budget defence by MDAs on Wednesday.

The meeting considered appropriations proposed for youth-centered programmes and projects under the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), and the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC) in the 2025 fiscal year.

The joint session, involving committees from both the Senate and the House of Representatives, engaged with the Minister of Youth Development, Mr Ayodele Olawande, the Director-General of the NYSC, Brig. Gen. YD Ahmed Rtd., and the Director-General of the CLTC, Mr Adesoji Eniade, among other representatives of the various MDAs.
