AKSG BEGINS PAYMENT OF OUTSTANDING 7.5 CONTRIBUTORY PENSIONS, FEBRUARY, 28

…As Beneficiaries from Eight LEAs Meets First Tranche Payment

The Akwa Ibom State Government has announced the commencement of first tranche payment of outstanding 7.5% Contributory Pensions to beneficiaries from select Local Education Authorities (LEAs).

This was contained in a Public Service Announcement signed by the Head of Civil Service, Elder Effiong Essien dated, Tuesday, 25th February, 2025.

The payment, structured in tranches, will cover beneficiaries from eight LEAs, including Uyo, Ini, Esit Eket, Ibeno, Ibesikpo Asutan, Nsit Ubium, Oruk Anam, and Orue-Offong/Oruko in the first tranche.

According to the Public Service Announcement, beneficiaries from the invited Local Education Authorities (LEAs) are to report at the Akpan Isemin Hall, Government House, Uyo with their service documents from Friday, 28th February, 2025 at 10:00am.

The Head of Civil Service expressed gratitude to Governor Umo Eno for his commitment to improving the welfare of workers, both serving and retired, in line with his administration’s A.R.I.S.E Agenda.
