Eket Golf Estate will be the most secured estate in Akwa Ibom – Apexs

Eket Golf Estate, a private real estate development facilitated by 7 Star Properties is said to be the best secured estate in Akwa Ibom State when fully developed.

The estate which is situated in a 5.244 hectares of land at Edeobuk, along Eket-Ibeno Road, will have a shopping mall, village market and 10 storey 150 rooms hotel in the commercial area, while the residential area will have a swimming pool, football pitch, volley ball court, restaurant, among other facilities to serve residents.

The managing director of Eket Golf Estate, Mr. Justin Apexs, made the disclosure while briefing news men at the company corporate office in Eket over the weekend.

Apexs revealed that the estate will have a commercial center that will serve all and sundry except those who are nuisance to the facility, while the residential area will be only accessed by residents and visitors through access code, making it the most secured estate in Akwa Ibom State and entire South South geopolitical zone.

He disclosed that the idea of developing Eket Golf Estate is driven by the huge investments going on in the area, including the purchased of ExxonMobil assets by Seplat Energy, the ongoing construction of BUA Refinery, among other investments.

The MD further revealed that after conducting a feasibility study, he discovered that Eket has an original master plan meant to be an investment hub, hence the decision of the Board of Directors of 7 Star Properties to purchase the land and commenced development of the property.

He added that Eket Golf Estate is going to be an inspiration for upcoming generation as names of people who have impacted Eket positively and made meaningful contributions to the advancement of the local government area will be engraved on a gemstone at the estate to celebrate their individual contributions.

Apexs commended the support received from Eket critical stakeholders including Member representing Eket State Constituency in the House of Assembly, Dr. Nsidibe Akata, Chairman of Eket Local Government, Mr. Akaniyene Tommey, immediate past Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Frank Archibong, Paramount Ruler of Eket, Edidem E. C. D. Abia, maintaining that their support have assisted in the smooth take off of the project.

He also thanked Governor Umo Eno and past Governors of Akwa Ibom State for prioritizing infrastructural development, stressing that Akwa Ibom State can boast of quality roads which help to facilitate development programmes, calling on investors to take advantage of the unique real estate opportunity that Eket Golf Estate has provided.
