Today, I took out time to visit a private university in Eket, Emmanuel Ekott University and was wow with what I saw at the university premises. A massive 3 storey structure that have different departments and classes in it. The environment itself is serene and the landmass is amazing. I have been hearing about Emmanuel Ekott University but didn’t know they have such a massive structure on ground. Outside the 3 storey structure, there is another massive structure which I think is administrative blocks with many offices.
I saw over 100 artisans (painters, tillers, masons, electricians, welders, plumbers, etc) working at the building, putting up finishing touches, signalling commencement of academic session in no distant time. By the commencement of academic session, over 2000 to 5000 students will resume classes in the school and there will be demand for accomodations.
