EPU THANK GOV ENO FOR APPOINTMENT OF EKID SONS AS COMMISSIONERS.

Ekid People’s Union (EPU) has, on behalf of Ekid Nation, thank and commend His Excellency, Governor Umo Eno, PhD, for appointing three of its sons into the State Executive Council.

The commendation and gratitude was contained in a message of congratulations forwarded to Hon Frank Archibong, Rt Hon Iniobong Robson and Mr Paul Bassey, all of Ekid extraction, who have just been sworn into office as Commissioners in Umo Eno’s administration.

Signed by Dr Samuel Udonsak, President General and Hon (Barr) Bassey Dan Abia, National Secretary, the Union extolled and gave high rating of the qualities and capacities of the appointees while describing them as worthy ambassadors of Ekid Nation.

For Mkpisong Frank Archibong, the congratulatory message said “On behalf of Ekid Nation, we congratulate you on your reappointment, to serve Akwa Ibom State, as Commissioner in the administration of His Excellency, Governor Umo Eno, PhD”,

“Your meteoric political elevations are tangible manifestation of your hard work, resilience, dedication and undivided loyalty, over the years, in every portfolio of responsibility assigned to you. We therefore have no doubt of your abilities even with the added responsibility as Dean of Commissioners”,

“We thank His Excellency for seeing through and believing in your ability to transform ideas into concrete realities.

For Rt Hon Iniobong Robson, the message read in parts, “we are thrilled to extend our warmest congratulations to you on your appointment into the State Executive Council of His Excellency, Governor Umo Bassey Eno, PhD”,

“Your doggedness, patriotism, hard work, dedication, and perseverance have truly paid off. This particular appointment is a testament to your exceptional administrative acumen during your leadership as ALGON Chairman in the State, and as the Executive Chairman of Esit Eket Local Government Area”,

“This is another significant milestone in your political journey, and we have no doubt that you will continue to achieve great things in future”,

“Wishing you all the best as you embark on this new chapter. Ekid people are proud of you. You are worth celebrating”.

The Union described Paul Bassey as one of Nigeria’s finest in sports administration and said “your appointment into the team of tested and trusted individuals, to perform, as translators of the ARISE Agenda of His Excellency, Governor Umo Eno, PhD, is a demonstration of the Governor’s sincere desire to better the lot of Akwa Ibom people”,

“Your appointment does not come to us as a surprise, because it is an undeniable fact that you remain one of Nigeria’s best in sports administration”,

“You singlehandedly organized and administered, for over 8 years, the National Mobil Athletic Sports Competition in Akwa Ibom State and took discovered talents of the Competition to international Athletic Sports arena, among other achievements”.

EPU called on Ekid people to, as usual, give maximum support to the Governor, to enable him use his newly inaugurated team of tested individuals, in translating his programs into visible dividends of democracy for the common good of the State.
