Ex-Galatasaray Forward Reveals Why Osimhen Is Too Good For Turkish Süper Lig

Former Galatasaray forward, Burak Yılmaz, has revealed why Victor Osimhen is too good for Turkish Super Lig.

As per All Nigeria Soccer, Yılmaz hailed the Nigerian striker, asserting that his exceptional physicality and athleticism make him a player far superior to the standards of the Turkish Süper Lig.

Osimhen, 25, has been a revelation since joining Galatasaray, delivering standout performances that have captivated fans and critics.

He wasted no time making an impact, contributing two goals and two assists in his first three league appearances.

This feat established him as the first Galatasaray player since Bafetimbi Gomis in 2017 to achieve at least three goal involvements in his opening three matches.

Speaking to TRT Spor, Yılmaz explained why he believes Osimhen is operating on a level above most players in the league.

“Victor Osimhen is a very high-level football player with his athletic structure and physical genetics. He is a European centre forward and one of the top 5-6 centre forwards in the world,” Yılmaz said.

The former Galatasaray star emphasized that he is more suited to elite leagues than the Süper Lig.

“There are many top-level teams following Osimhen closely. Victor Osimhen is currently a player above the Turkish League in terms of physical appearance, he should not be harmed,” Yılmaz added.
