FATHERS IN FAITH HOLDS PRAYER GATHERING
Following the shocking news of the passing onto glory of the wife of the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Eno, the Fathers In Faith for Good Governance is holding a special prayer gathering to seek God’s mercies for comfort to the bereaved family.
The prayer gathering tagged: The God That comforts, is scheduled to hold on Sunday 2:30pm at the Believers Assembly Nigeria, Mbiabong Etoi, Uyo. It will feature supplications, elegies and select Scripture readings to designes to minister comfort and relief to Akwa Ibom citizens, particularly the husband of the departed first lady, Pastor Umo Eno, Governor of Akwa Ibom State and the children.
According to Prelate Prof. Isaiah Issong, President General of Fathers In Faith for Good Governance, the news of the transition of Pastor Mrs. Patience Eno has brought griefs to the State, and that the best alibi at a difficult moment as this is to offer prayers for consolation, healing and renewal of strength.
Prelate Isong, who is also Vice Chairman 1 of the Akwa Ibom State Christian Leadership Advisory Council, enjoin members of the council, spiritual fathers and Fathers In Faith for Good Governance members across the 31 LGAs of the State to gather on Sunday at the Believers Assembly Nigeria’s City of Hope Cathedral for the prayers.
As the State mourns, Prelate Prof. Isaiah Isong has urged believers not to lose hope as God will turn our mourning into joy, during the prayer gathering.
