FRANK ARCHIBONG CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY WITH EKET STUDENTS, HARPS ON QUALITY EDUCATION, LEADERSHIP

The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Frank Archibong, has charged Eket students community to focus their attention to quality education and leadership.

Addressing a cross section of students comprising of Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Institution, at the paramount ruler’s palace in Eket, Archibong said he was impressed with the initiative put together by Frank Archibong Goodwill Alliance (FAGA), reassuring them of his commitment and continuous support while admonishing them to always do good.

He appreciated God for the gift of life and mercy, noting that as one who is blessed through the Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, it is imperative that he replicate the thinking of his Boss to Eket students.
He acknowledged the “Governor’s pragmatic approach to quality education, providing conducive learning environment and payment of bursary and grants for both the teachers and students in the state which he said must be encouraged.

“We are our successes and we are also our failures.Do not be discouraged nor distracted, keep striving and the sky will be your limit. We are doing this to consciously support your effort and energy so that tomorrow, you will be conscious when this community needs help, you must give help to this community.

“The truth is we must have something to give to you people. We will not handover quarrels to you people, we will not handover negative energy to you people, what we will handover to you people is quality leadership and I will not relent in doing that”.

Archibong, who marked his 49th birthday with Eket students, yesterday, Monday, 19th August,2024, was honoured by the leadership of the group with “Utuenikang Ndito Eket” award during a special birthday splash organized in his honour with the theme: Empowering tomorrow’s leaders: A case study of Hon. Frank Archibong’s contribution, supported the idea and promised to do more.

In a thank you remark by the Chairman organizing Committee, Comrade Jerry Assam and Comrade Ifiokobong, they commended their mentor, Mr. Frank Archibong, for his huge investment in human capacity building, education, free medical outreach, quality leadership and building a development bridge for the entire students of Eket.
