GOV ENO HAS DONE EXCELLENTLY WELL- AKAN TOMMEY

Reiterates commitment to the development of Eket, Promises massive empowerment, payment of bursary
Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, has been commended by the Executive Chairman of Eket Local Government Council, Mkpisong Akan Tommey, for doing excellently well in all sectors of the economy.
Tommey, expressed deep appreciation to the Governor for the opportunity given and making the state safe for investors. He thanked the media professionals for their support during and after the election and consistency in promoting the good works of the government of pastor Umo Eno.
The Eket Council Boss, stated this while addressing Journalists under the platform of Eket Federal Constituency Media Professionals (EFCMP) led by the Chairman, Comrade Itoro Etti, during tour to project sites in the local government undertaken by his administration, on Thursday, 23rd January,2025.
“Governor Umo Eno has done excellently well and I am sure that there is no local government or community which the Governor’s signature is not boldly stamped. For example, the Model Primary School, in Eket is actually in the rural area and, the people in that community knows that it is Governor Umo Eno’s signature. The ARISE compassionate Homes are scattered all over the rural communities. So, I want to say that Governor Umo Eno has done excellently well”.He stated.
He listed the ongoing Eket City Hall project, 60 lock-up shops built at the Eket modern motor park for traders, road rehabilitation and fixing of potholes within Eket metropolis to allow free flow of traffic for motorists and grading of rural roads as some of the achievements his administration has recorded.
He also hinted of constructing an Ultra-Modern Legislative Complex, Payment of bursary for Eket students and 50 million naira massive empowerment to help boost entrepreneurs and traders in the the LGA.
Some of the roads fixed by the Eket chairman include; Enen Ekpene, Ediam, Uqua road, Etebi Idung Iwak by Government Primary school and Etebi street.
Earlier, chairman of the forum, Comrade Itoro Etti, said the forum is satisfied with the achievements seen on ground. He appreciated the Council Chairman for not disappointing the people and applauded him for his output to ensure Eket is heard of and evidence of good governance visibly felt.
