Gov Eno, Others Storm Eket today, As Deaconess Ekaette Essien Goes Home
All is now set for the final homeward trip of Late Obonganwan Ekaette Nduese Essien as all roads lead to the Eket local government Cenotaph Ground by 10am.
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, is expected to lead other top government officials and dignitaries to grace the occasion.
On Thursday evening, a service of songs had been held at the Qua Iboe Church, Ikot Ibiok, and saw Chief Nduese Essien leading other members of the family to attend.
Different choir groups from within and outside the Qua Iboe Church rendered melodious tunes while tributes in honour of Late Mrs Essien, were offered.
