GOV. UMO ENO CALLS ON INDIGENES TO JOIN HANDS IN STATE BUILDING
… Urges Youths to Shun Drug, Violence
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno has called on all indigenes of the State, irrespective of location, profession, and social standing to join hands in building the State and further on project Akwa Ibom.

The Governor made the call at the ongoing Christmas Unplugged Season 2.0 at the Unity Park, Uyo when he joined his kith and kin to mark Nsit Ubium day.
He advised against the attitude of sitting on the fence, stressing that such would not do the State any good as only well-intended actions will make a difference.
Governor Eno noted that the yearly cultural displays at the Christmas Village is, besides serving as source of entertainment, is part of efforts to promote and sustain the rich cultural heritage of the different ethnic groups and the State generally.

He commended the different local government areas for their appearances, performances and playing the game by the rules.
The Governor who assured of a better outing in year 2025, commended the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Sir Charles Udoh and his team for their commitment at putting together the event.
