…Distributes More Educational Materials to Secondary Schools

Rep. Martins Esin, Member representing Oron/Mbo/Okobo/Udung Uko/Urueoffong Oruko Federal Constituency has concluded another capacity-building programme for 100 youths and women in ICT, agricultural technology, and various entrepreneurial skills such as tailoring, phone repairs, barbing, hairdressing, cosmetics, poultry, and fisheries.
The training which held at multiple locations across the constituency came to a close with the presentation of laptop computers, financial support, and agricultural and entrepreneurial tools by Rep. Esin to the beneficiaries in Oron on Saturday.
The lawmaker also distributed 500 school bags, thousands of exercise books and advanced mathematical learning sets to Community Secondary School, Eyoabasi, Community Secondary Grammar School, Ebughu, Community Secondary School, Odobo, Methodist Senior Science College, Oron, and Christian Secondary Technical College, Oyubia.
Speaking during the event, Esin who chairs the House of Representatives Committee on Youth Development reiterated his dedication to building the capacity of young people in his constituency and increasing the number of entrepreneurs as promised under his RIDE (Representation, Inspiration, Development & Empowerment) agenda.
Esin was joined at the presentation ceremony by a host of government functionaries including the Chairman of Oron Local Government, Hon. (Chief) Asukwo Eweme who commended the Rep member for his regular constituency engagements and empowerment programmes.
