WORDS ARE INADEQUATE TO EASE OUR PAINS – OKPOLUPM ETTEH
I write with a heavy heart, on behalf of my family and the people of Eket/ONNA/Esit-Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency, to express my sincere condolences on the untimely passing of our amiable and beloved First Lady, Pastor (Mrs.) Patience Umo Eno, the wife of the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno.
In this moment of profound grief, I join countless Akwa Ibomites and Nigerians at large in mourning this tragic and irreplaceable loss. Our Esteemed First Lady was not only a devoted wife and mother but also a pillar of strength and compassion, whose warmth and dedication to the welfare of our people touched countless lives. Her service to humanity through her pet project, Golden Initiative For All (GIFA) and her selfless efforts in uplifting women, children, and the vulnerable in our society will forever remain a beacon of inspiration.
While words are inadequate to ease the pain of her demise, I pray that God, in His infinite grace, will grant the first family and the entire state the strength to bear this heart-wrenching bereavement. May the Holy Spirit, our Comforter, wrap His arms around us and fill our hearts with His peace.
My family and the people of Eket/ONNA/Esit-Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency share in this grief. We trust that the exemplary life of Her Excellency will continue to inspire us all to work towards the betterment of our state.
Rest on, our dear First Lady.
